Shizune wrung her hands together in nervousness, her feet tapping against the ground fast. Tsunade watched as her niece shook with a mix of emotions, just waiting on pins and needles for the bus to finally roll into the station, bringing along the one they were waiting for.

"Only twenty more minutes."

"I know...oh god, Aunt Tsunade, I'm so excited, and so nervous! I can't believe he's coming home!"

Tsunade smiled as she ruffled Shizune's hair, "I know darling, I know." The brown-haired woman smiled and laughed slightly, wringing her hands again.

Ten minutes passed again when Tsunade stood up, "Well, I know you may not care, but I gotta take care of some girl things." Shizune wrinkled her nose, making the busty woman laugh and walk off towards the bathroom. The woman sighed as she watched her aunt disappeared, leaving her alone to her own thoughts of mixed feelings.

Excitement. Nervousness. Fear. Worry. All common feelings of a girlfriend waiting for her boyfriend's bus to arrive at the bus station.

A few minutes later, Tsunade reappeared, finding Shizune wrapped up in her chair, and sighed, "Wow...you really need to calm down a little bit. Seriously, at this rate you're going to give yourself a major break-out."

"The bus arriving from Suna to Konoha is just coming into the station. Please stand back as loading and unloading procedures take place. Thank you and have a nice day."

Shizune stood up with lighting quick speed, "He's here! He's here Aunt Tsunade, he's finally here!" Tsunade smiled and stood up, "Yes I know. Stand back Shizune; you have to wait for him to get off the bus."

On her tiptoes in hyper happiness, Shizune hopped in hopes of seeing her boyfriend through the high windows of the bus with little avail. "Do you see him Aunt Tsunade?" she asked, "You're taller than I am."

"No I can't yet. Oh wait...there he is! He's about to get off the bus!"

Shizune gasped, looking towards the doorway of the bus, her ebony eyes soon seeing silver hair coming into view.

"It's him...it's him! He's here! Aunt Tsunade, it's him! It's Kabuto-kun! Kabuto-kun!"

The silver-haired man looked up at the call of his name, and smiled at the sight of the familiar face. "Shizune-chan!" Kabuto yelled back, jumping from the top of the steps to the platform and running towards his girlfriend, grabbing her tightly in his arms.

Tsunade stood back and watched the couple embrace each other, drinking each other in as if they were both dehydrated after a long crossing of a desert and each were the fresh water oasis they were looking for. 'I'm so happy for you, Shizune. All that worry and nervousness paid off, didn't it?' she thought, turning and walking away to grab the car.

The two pulled back enough to stare into identical pairs of ebony eyes, one behind glass and the other teary, and soft smiles, both unbelieving that at last they were together. Slowly, they leaned until their eyes closed and their lips met, forming a kiss that they wish will never end, their minds shutting out everything else around them, their ears ignoring the "aww" and "get a room" calls around them.

"You're home Kabuto-kun..."

"Yes, I'm home Shizune-chan...I'm home."
