Okay, so this is just going to be a collection of different fanfics that I use to put all of the stories written for competitions/challenges.
This first one is for the Colour Competition run by Empress Empoleon. The category is turquoise negative.

"Do you like anyone?" James said, trying to seem casual.

James and Lily were sitting at a booth inside the Three Broomsticks, each holding a glass of cold butterbeer in their hands.

"No," Lily replied, rolling her eyes. He obviously wanted her to ask him the same thing. "Do you?"

"Yeah," he said, his cheeks turning pink.

"Who?"

"I'm not telling you! You'd blab to everyone."

"No, I wouldn't."

"Of course you would."

"Come on, James. Just tell me," Lily said grinning, as she leaned forward with her elbows propping her up.

"What if I don't want to?" He had a similar facial expression on as he leaned in even closer until their noses were nearly touching.

"Doesn't matter if you don't want to, I'll get it out of you one way or another anyways," Lily murmured.

"Oh really? Fine then, come a little closer and I'll tell you." James's breath tickled her cheek as he spoke.

Getting the hint, Lily closed her eyes with a knowing smile and waited. And waited and waited. When she opened her eyes with confusion, she saw James right in front of her, again mirroring her expression.

"Er, what were you doing?" he asked.

Stumbling, she replied. "Me? Um, you know what? I forgot that I had to go to-go to meet Alice at the owlery. And I'm so late." Her telltale blush was showing vividly. Getting up, she knocked her glass down but paid no attention to it. "So I'll see you tomorrow in class alright?" She was already walking away.

James looked befuddled. "Well yeah, but...Lily!"

Waving a frantic hand back without turning around, Lily rushed out of the door and didn't slow down until she was sure that she was out of James's sight. Sighing, her shoulders drooped and she felt horribly embarrassed.

"Lily, hey Lily!" Rushing to catch up, James sped past a crowd of students.

Wincing as she prepared for the confrontation, she counted to five and then turned around with an easy smile on her face. "Oh, James. Hi. What'd you think about that Charms exam?"

"Um, yeah it was fine. Can I talk to you?" He pulled her over to a quieter spot near a classroom.

"About what, silly?"

"About yesterday. After you left, I realized that what I was saying might've come off the wrong way. Lily...I like Natalie."

"Natalie..Natalie Green?"

"Yeah, and I just wanted to make sure that there would be no awkwardness between us."

"Awkwardness? As if... Look, I get it, and it's fine." You like her and I like you. What's worse is that you know that I like you.

"Cool. Alright, so I have to get to class but I'll talk to you later, okay?"

"Sure." Lily gave him a weak grin.

Turning away abruptly, she walked away again. Somehow, it didn't feel as good as she thought it would. But she would just grin and bear it, convincing herself that it was for the best, until her feelings would fade away and she wouldn't feel as unwanted anymore.
