Hey everyone so I watched the episode of this season where Lincoln dies and then I thought what would have happened if the situation got reversed. What if Octavia had knocked out Lincoln and gone to be executed in his place how would this change things in the show. It will be as close to cannon as possible. I obviously don't own the characters cause if I did Bellarke would totally be a thing and Lincoln would not have died. This will start at the end of the episode where Lincoln died. Only also in this version Octavia isn't going to die right away.
Lincoln POV
When I came to I was on a horse headed away from Arkadia I suddenly noticed Octavia was not with us. Then I saw her, Pike had her handcuffed and was marching her out. All I kept thinking was no not her please not her. I tried to run to get her but my legs wouldn't move fast enough. Then I heard the gun went off and her body fell to the ground I ran over and grabbed a sword and stuck it through Pike. I then ran to her and held her head in my hands,
"Octavia, it's me please tell me you can hear me please I love you say something anything just let me know your alive" I cried
"Lincoln," she moaned
"Yes my love it's me its okay just stay with me and don't leave please" I begged the tears pouring from my eyes.
"It's okay I'm here and I'm not going anywhere" she breathed I could tell, her breathing was labored
"Now rest my love I'll take us somewhere safe," I told her and watched her eyelids get heavy and kept my eyes on the rise and fall of her chest.
