So bittersweet

Sigh. Oh she couldn't think of any other thing than the second task, it was such a shame for her school! She will be pointed as inapropiate for representing Beauxbatons in the great of the greatest tournament...

"That's not fair! I gave my best down there..." -she said to herself while she was walking around the Hogwarts fields, she was by the border of the Forbidden Forest, and with another sigh, she sat down on the fresh grass.

She still was wet; she pursed her lips in confusion, thinking about herself "what had happened to me?" -she thought.

"Hey!" -she heard footsteps in the distance and as she gracefully turned around her eyes fell upon Cedric Diggory, one of the Hogwarts champions. His hair was dry, not like hers, and he looked at her with a gentle gaze.

"I heard you were dancing around the forest" -he said and uninvited, he sat next to her. She was surprised by his actions, how dare him! Blah, she knew all British men were rude. She looked at him cautiously, but still with a blank expression, and she didn't say a word.

"Are you alright?" -he said, his British accent flying around her ears, wait a minute why...

"Why are you here?" -she said

"Sorry, if I'm bothering, I'll just leave" -he said, standing up.

"No!" -She stood up too, "No, I'm fine with your presence, but..." -her thoughts started to fill her head again, if Fleur had a super ability that would be that her mind use to make thoughts very quickly, all kind of thoughts.

"Why are you here?" -she repeated and Cedric understood everything when he looked her face again.

"Because even when your little sister was rescued, you had that same blank face, so... bittersweet" –he said and looked at her eyes with funny eyes.

She laughed with his gestures, and it felt good, so she started to laugh and laugh. With no reason, she started to feel better. He looked at her surprised, and smiled, and then he asked...

"The same question goes for you, why are you here?" -he said when her laughing was ending.

"I don't know, it's a weird place... bittersweet as you said" -she said walking right into the woods with him following her closely.

"Bittersweet? This foggy forest?" -he asked.

"Well, as I've heard... you can find very horrible things in here, things that could cut your throat before you can even realize the danger..." -she said but didn't turn around to see him. She suddenly stopped and he frowned.

"But you can also find very beautiful things here..." -she said and turned around, facing him.

He gulped looking the smile on her face but then he felt something warm upon his cheeks and he smiled too. With that response, Fleur giggled and ran to him; she kissed him in the lips shortly and ran away from him.

He stood there for a minute with his eyes wide open, he touched his lips for a moment thinking about what happened and that he wanted more of that, so he ran to chase her. After all, he was right, Fleur Delacour was deeply and utterly a bittersweet person.
