Disclaimer: Nope, much to my dismay, I still don't own the boys. But I'm still having fun borrowing them for a bit.

STAY AWAY FROM MY TOES!

By: Vanessa Sgroi

No! No!

Dean Winchester thrashed wildly on his motel room bed, trapped in the throes of a nightmare.

No! Stay away from me! Get away!

Silence descended for a second.

Fingers? What? No! No way!

Dean's arms flailed as he batted away his nightmarish foe.

My toes? Oh, God no! Stay away—stay away from my toes! Get away from me you crazy bitch!

A loud thump echoed from corner to corner in the dull and dreary room as Dean tumbled out of bed, his breath coming in small gasps.

Sam clicked on the light and squinted down at his brother who sat on the floor mummified in his orange blanket, the corner of which drooped over one side of his face.

"Dude—that must have been one heck of a nightmare!"

Dean's one visible eye blinked blearily in the sudden glare of light.

Yawning, Sam murmured, "What was it this time—wendigo, werewolf . . . gremlin?" He grinned.

"Oh, it was much worse than that, Sammy. Much worse!" Dean gulped. "It was some crazy weird chick with blue hair and she . . . she was coming after me to give me a . . . a . . . a PEDICURE!" Dean shuddered, a horrified look frozen on his face. "You . . . you should have seen what she wanted to do to my feet. And toes!"

Sam started to laugh. "A pedicure. Oh, now THAT I'd like to see! Hmmm, let's see, what color would look good on you? How about 'Rose Petal Pink'?" The younger Winchester again snickered uncontrollably.

"I don't know what you're laughing at, geek boy," growled Dean, "You were sitting there right next to me and another crazy was already doing yours. A nice shade of plum, I think."

Dean smiled in extreme satisfaction when that cut off Sam's gush of laughter and a terror-stricken look crossed his face.

"HA! You didn't remember that I know your feet are even MORE ticklish than mine, did you?"

It was Sam's turn to shudder as he remembered those long-forgotten endless hours of tickle torture at his brother's hands when they were little.

He reached over and switched off the light, being careful to pull his knees up to his chest.

"Go back to sleep, Dean."
