Right in the middle of ninja balance training, Iruka falls off the log and into the water… on purpose, of course, but he'd never admit that to his sensei. He grins a little as the entire class laughs, eyes shifting to focus on one girl. She is new and recently joined the academy… and he has already nearly doubled the amount of stupid things he does…
… just to make her laugh.
Her laugh is infectious, and her smile is nearly heart-breaking… not to mention those beautiful [e/c] eyes and the cute little freckles spattered across her face. He just can't get enough. Her smile encourages him to attempt crazier feats still, and her laughter is his reward for accomplishing… every crazy thing he does.
Even now, he can't help but grin and flush faintly while she covers her mouth and laughs softly, her eyes bright and shining with humor.
What he wouldn't give to be with a girl like her.
