"It's finally prom night," Lucy said. "We better make the most of this."
"Yeah." I responded.
Prom. It's probably the highlight of every teenager's life! You just can't dare to miss it, let alone being embarrased.
Lucy and I held hands as we walked through the entrance of the hall, and we were greeted by parent chaperones. Old chaperones.
"Good evening, ladies. I see you're all dolled up for tonight," Makarov complimented. "Come on in, they're waiting." Lucy and I exchanged looks. They?
As we opened the door we were shocked to see the color gold radiating from the walls. "It's like being in a Faerie world.." Lucy thought.
Yeah, sure it was pretty, but for me it was a different thing. Suddenly all the memories from elementary and highschool played in my mind, and I was moved to tears, just standing by the entrance. Weird, huh? Go ahead, insult me but sorry, I'm just gonna stand here and have the time of my life.
As I was about to lift my hand to wipe my tears a cold hand beat me into it. I blinked my eyes to process the moment to see a man in black and blue, my date, Gray.
"What are you doing there, trying to act emo? C'mon, it's prom! Enjoy it." He asked, carresing my cheek while doing his signature smile.
"I'm alright, just having tears of joy, don't worry. Seriously." I answered, releasing his hand and returning his smile.
"You ready?" He asked.
I responded with a smile and held his hand, nodding,
"Yeah."
We ran to the dance floor like little kids and danced accordingly to the music. Gray would do some... I should say embarrasing moves and I would laugh, embossing the moments on my heart.
Suddenly the music went from funky disco dancing to slow romantic music and I met Gray's eyes like it was the first time. His eyes dark as smoke and mysterious, it was like falling in love again.
