Music is a key element for any hunt. There isn't a hunter alive who'd tell you different.
The best music is that which has stood the test of time. Endured. Conquered. That's ingrained so deep that it's bullet proof.
Before the hunt, music sets the tone. Creates a frame. Breathes in life and makes you strong.
Later, it provides the rhythm.
Then, at night, the right music drowns out the hurt. Fills in the gaps and let's you sleep.
It keeps you company when you're alone on the road. Is a common ground when things have settled back into place. Provides a bridge when it's too hard to talk.
The right music is the stuff of life. It's harsh and loud with just enough melody to make you crave more.
But the most important part of the music is that tiny fraction of time between the notes. The perfect quiet amidst the racket. The moments of peace that are born of the noise.
The louder the music, the more relief that silence holds.
Turn it up.
