I knocked on the cabin door 3 times. Annabeth had sent me to Percy's cabin because he hadn't come out in about a week or so. I opened the door and saw Percy rocking back in forth on the ground crying almost pulling his hair out. I glanced at his arms and saw the freshly made scars. I ran quickly to his side and moved his hands so I could see his face.
"Sh- she's gone n-Nico she's gone she's..." Percy continued to ramble on whispering those words over and over.
"Percy, PERCY! Listen to me, who's gone?!" I questioned trying to get some sanity back to him.
" m-my mom s-sally's gone she's dead Nico and it's my f-fault I wasn't home I was gone now she's dead... I-it's all my..."
"Shhhh Percy it's okay." I wrapped my arms around him he snuggled into the crook of my neck, Tears dampening my shirt. Something had finally broke Percy so bad that he might not heal and couldn't fake his smile any longer, but no matter how long it took Nico would help bandage this wound even if it was only with a Band-Aid. Percy pulled away from our hug and looked at me. His sea green eyes blurred with tears. I reached out for him but he scooted away. I tried again and he got up and ran to the bathroom and locked the door behind him. I stood up and sighed as I tried to open the door.
"PERCY JUST LET ME IN! please..."
