I lay in bed unable to sleep. I was staying the night at the Trancy manor that night and no matter how I adjusted myself I couldn't seem to fall asleep. But that didn't matter to me at that moment. What did matter was the peaceful sleeping face of Alois becoming twisted in discomfort. His calm shallow breaths became surfaced and had sped up. Noticing this I stuck out a hand and placed it gently on his head, stroking is soft blonde hair hoping it would send him some sort of comfort. A few seconds after I started running my fingers through his hair I heard a faint voice come from him.

"Ciel."

"Yes?" I replied, unsure if he was addressing me or talking in his sleep.

"C…Ciel", he started again, "Ciel please!" he practically shouted. Could he be dreaming about….tch if he wants to do it that bad all he has to do is wake up and say so. Wait what did I just think?!

I was snapped out of my embarrassing thoughts when Alois began talking again.

"Ciel…please not you too." I lifted my brow in confusion. 'Not me too' what? He then began to move around so I removed my hand from his head. I was beginning to seriously worry.

"Ciel you can't. Please…" I was debating if I should wake him up at that point, but before I could make a decision he started to speak one last time.

"Ciel please don't leave!" with that both our eyes widened, mine in shock and his in fear. He shot up immediately and tears began to cascade down his pale cheeks. He was shaking and his breathing was irregular.

"A…Alois" I whispered still in shock. He looked over at me, clear blue eyes clouded with terror. I'll never forget that look. My heart instantly shattered.

"C…Ciel!" he lunged toward me and attached himself to my wais. His grip was painfully tight, but I didn't mind. I wrapped my arms around him and pulled him closer, if that was even possible. We stayed that way for a while. Once Alois calmed down he let go of me and looked up, light blue stared into dark blue.

"Alois…" he cut me off by pressing his soft cold lips against mine in a delicate almost scared kiss that ended as abruptly as it started. He rested his head on my shoulder and intertwined his slender fingers with mine.

"Ciel…please don't leave me. Promise you won't leave me alone in the dark."

My eyes widened slightly with his words then quickly softened. I took my free hand and placed it on his head pushing it further into my shoulder.

"Alois, leaving you is the last thing I would do." He shot up to look at me.

"R…really?" his grip on my hand tightened.

"Yes. Alois, you know how I feel about you." Alois' expression softened with my words. I then took his face in my hand and brought it close to mine. I connected our lips in the softest yet most passionate kiss I could give, hoping that all of my feelings for him would be conveyed in that single kiss.

Once the kiss ended Alois spoke for both of us, "I love you." I gave a small smile and guided us both back to a lying position. I was lying on my back and Alois had his head placed on my chest. Fingers and legs intertwined.

"Go to sleep Alois" I whispered gently. His head immediately shot up, fear displayed in his eyes once again.

"But Ciel…I'm scared. What if I have another night terror?" I gently eased his head back on my chest and entangled my fingers in his blonde locks again.

"I'm right here if you do. I'm not going anywhere, Alois. I swear." He nuzzled his head on my chest and whispered one last 'I love you' before drifting off to sleep. Once I made sure he was asleep I whispered back, "I love you too, Alois. So much" he must have heard because a small smile appeared across his angel-like face and he slept peacefully the rest on the night.

We slept peacefully the rest of the night, together.
