Hi, okay so this is my first attempt at anything on fanfiction. Please review!
Josh Hotz wasn't sure about many things.
He wasn't sure if he passed the Algebra test last Friday.
He wasn't sure if he wanted to go to UCLA or FSU.
He wasn't sure if he should run for class president, as a senior.
He wasn't sure if he should buy a used car, or forget his pride and take the one his dad was offering
But if there was one thing Josh Hotz was sure of, it was that he was, and maybe always would be, undeniably in love with Massie Block.
She was the "Alpha" of OCD. The one whom all boys wanted to do, and all the girls wanted to be.
He was just plain 'ole Josh Hotz. B student and "Major Hawtie" as the girls called him. But that was it. Oh and of course friend to Derrick Harrington.
Derrick Harrington.
The name made him want to punch the concrete wall next to him. Derrick Harrington. The one guy that Massie Block publicly fell for. The one guy that dare cheat on her with a hoe like Alicia Rivera, and get away with it. He was a player, a player that didn't deserve even a glimpse from someone like Massie Block. But he got it anyway. And not just a glimpse from her, but her herself.
What did Josh Hotz get? No one. And not "no one" like "no one" worth mentioning or "no one" he truly loved.
Just a simple "no one."
He remembers the first day he saw Massie Block.
He had gotten expelled from Hotchkiss Academy and was now at the school for Westchester's most "elite" OCD. It made him want to gag just thinking about it.
He was walking down the hall to his first class when suddenly it seemed like the hallways got abruptly quieter, not silent, but quieter.
He continued walking and only stopped when he saw what might have been the 5 hottest girls he'd ever seen. There were two blonds, one that seemed very athletic, and one that almost seemed like she didn't belong in the group. There was also a fiery red head with piercing green eyes, and a Spanish beauty with long black hair.
But they all seemed to be outshined by one girl, the girl with luscious brown curls, and amber eyes. She was the leader, Josh knew right away. From the way the others glanced at her through their peripheral vision, and the way she seemed to be the only one with absolutely no hesitation, or self esteem problem.
He continued to stare, unintentionally. One of the girls noticed him. But not the one he wanted to. It was just the Spanish one. She gave him a sly wink and a smile, but continued walking. Sure she was pretty hot, but she wasn't her.
He was so lost in the gaze that he didn't realize when a guy that looked about his age, with dark hair and weird eyes stopped in front of him and said hey.
"Uhm, dude?" the guy asked after attempting to talk to him twice. This time he brought Josh out of his stare.
The guy followed where his gaze had been moments ago.
"Ah, so you've spotted the "The Pretty Committee." The guy said making air quotes when he said Pretty Committee.
"Oh, is that what they call themselves? Who's the one with the brown curls?" Josh asked trying not to act too curious, but failing.
"So you haven't just spotted the "Pretty Committee", you've spotted the one and only Massie Block."
"Massie Block." Josh repeated to himself.
"Don't waste your time dude. She's with my friend Derrick Harrington."
Josh frowned.
He then turned to look at her one more time. And there was the proof. It wasn't just her anymore, but a shaggy haired blonde with her, their arms around each other.
Derrick Harrington.
Another thing Josh was sure of?
He didn't, wouldn't, and never could have, Massie Block.
So, how was it? Awesome? Sucked? Let me know!
