What appeared to be Dwemer ruins was connected to pipes descending down the mountains steep walls. Redack had heard stories about the Dwemer, how they disappeared after experimenting with Snow Elves and that their ruins were filled with giant beetles, hostile machines, and other creatures long since sealed away. Redack approached what appeared to be a gate, only for it to open automatically and allow him to descend. Golden staircases were attached to carved out walls. A loud metallic sound could be heard, making Redack curious. He slowly saw the source of the sound, a yellow contraption with eight "legs". Walking up to the thing, Redeck saw that it was very aggressive. Trying to ignore it, Redeck continued up some stairs. He regretted this greatly as the machine hit him in the back, knocking him to the ground. Grabbing his sword, he struck the machine several times before it sputtered and fell apart. Kicking the rusted gears away, Redack continued on. He made sure to check his surroundings in case anymore surprises awaited him. It appeared that the ruins actually kept building new things, long after its workers died. Redack was growing bored with the ruins, the only thing he saw worth fighting was the robotic beings that staggered into view. Still, if their really was any treasure down their it was worth the long walk. Fortunately, his boredom soon disappeared as he saw new surroundings. Huts made of a blue chitin like surfaces were planted around him. Suddenly, he heard what sounded like a low growl behind him. Investigating the source proved difficult as their were many tight corridors around him, meaning the creature could be hiding somewhere. Redack trusted his Imperial instinct and tried to ignore the sound and see if their was anything useful he could find in one of the chitin huts. Gaining a bow, soul gem, and skull, Redack packed up his things and prepared to leave, until a gigantic blue insect detached itself from one of the huts.
