Kagome's Story
Chapter 1
Kagome ran through the forest, away from the man she once thought that she loved. Her mind screamed at her.
'It wasn't supposed to happen like this. He told me that he loved me!'
Behind her the person perusing her cursed. "Kagome! Come back, you don't understand. It's not what it looks like."
Kagome stumbled out of the forest. In front of her was a cliff. Kagome ran to the edge and looked down, knowing that this would not end well. Darkness loomed up at her.
Out of the forest burst her pursuer, breathing deeply despite how used to running he was.
"Kagome you don't understand. Just listen to –." Kagome spun around.
"No! I'm tired of listening to your bullshit! You bastard, you said that you wanted me as a sister. You wanted me to be part of you family! You've been lying to me since the beginning! You're my family or at least you were."
"Kagome I still am –" Inuyasha looked down.
"You're still part of my family. Ha. You just made a BLOOD PACT TO KILL ME WITH THAT UNDEAD CLAY POT. THAT STUPID BITCH KIKYO!"
Kagome stood fuming.
Inuyasha looked up into Kagome's eyes; blood red eyes met saffron blue. Kagome gasped and took a step back. She was as good as dead. Inuyasha was no longer in control; she had pushed him over the edge when she had brought Kikyo into this.
Inuyasha charged at Kagome, she scrambled back and her foot slipped off the edge. Kagome looked into Inuyasha's eyes as she fell and only saw hatred from her once friend.

As Kagome plummeted to her death all she could think of was how much pain it would cause everyone when she was gone.
'I'm sorry everyone. Mother, grandfather, Souta, Miroku, Songo, Shippou . . . forgive me for the pain this will cause you.'
Kagome's body hit the dark river with such force that several bones were broken upon impact and she was thrust into the abyss of unconsciousness. After her battered body was thrown around in the raging waters for a short while, Kagome forced herself awake. She struggled to the surface for air. Her head breached the surface of the water and she breathed a grateful breath of fresh air as she looked for a way out of this desperate situation.
'Please if you're out there Kami help me. Help me survive this night. I still have a job to do and I won't give up until it's done. Please help me!!'
