Kellin's POV:
I giggled like a little girl as I fell back into the soft snow,
closing my blue eyes. The white powder fanned out as soon as my back
made contact with the ground. Soon, I felt a presence looming over me.
I opened one eye to see my boyfriend, Vic, standing over me. He
reached out a hand to help me up, but as I grasped it, I pulled him
down next to me.
I gave him a child-like grin and held tight to his glove-clad fingers.
He squeezed back and let out a small chuckle before pulling himself
off the cold earth and motioning for me to do the same. I stood and
began dusting the snow from my now-soaked skinnies.
"C'mon, Kells! If you keep stopping we'll never make it back to my
house!" he whined. Then, smirking deviously, he added "And mom's
making hot chocolate. You know Mike will drink it all if we don't get
there in time." My eyes widened at the mention of Mrs. Fuentes'
heavenly hot chocolate.
"Hurry up, Vic!" I yelled, already ten yards ahead of him. Not an easy
feat in the deep snow.
"I'm coming, Kels." he laughed, struggling to keep up. I stopped for a
moment and waited for him to catch up. Swiftly grabbing his hand, I
began to pull him along with me in the direction of the Fuentes
household.
"Slow down!" Vic called after a few minutes. Grudgingly, I released
his hand and came to a stop. "I just don't want you to slip, okay?" he
said, pecking my cheek. I nodded, warmth flooding my face. He smiled
and began to pull me up the driveway.
