She's My Kind of Rain
sung by: Tim McGraw

She's all things to behold

Raindrops fell around him as he watched her dance around in the empty driveway in front of her house. The droplets of water created small puddles at her feet and she carelessly jumped from one to the other, creating a ripple of waves.

She happily looked up at him and extended her hand for him to join her. He threw her a small sideways smile and made his way toward her. As soon as he got close enough she jumped in the puddle closest to him and splashed the bottom of his pants.

She's my kind of rain

Her head fell back in laughter as he took her into his arms. He brushed away the stray pieces of hair that stuck to her face and used his thumbs to wipe away her smeared mascara. Her arms wrapped around his waist and her head rested on his chest as he ran his hand over her hair.

Like love from a drunken sky

He felt her let out a sigh as he whispered in her ear, "Jude, dance with me."

One hand found its way around her and rested on the small of her back and the other took one of her hands in his. Her free hand wrapped around his back and rested on his shoulder. They danced to the soft melody he hummed.

She's my lost companion

His hand ran up and down her back as he moved his face closer to hers. He brushed his cheek against hers and took in her scent of fresh rain mixed with vanilla. His head moved once more and he let out a breath against her neck.

Her eyes fluttered shut and she moved her hand from his where it joined her other behind him. Their arms were now completely wrapped around each other as their pressed their bodies tightly against each other.

Together in this brief eternity

Slowly, he shifted his head once more and placed a small kiss on her temple. His hands moved across her back and across the small area of exposed skin on her back. Once again, he found his lips near her neck and this time he left a small kiss.

Neither one of them realized that the small drizzle of raindrops had turned into a downpour. Their clothes were soaked and stuck to one another but that was the last thing they were worried about.

She's confetti falling down all night

Their heads moved in unison as they locked eyes. His hands made their way to her face where he placed a tender kiss on her lips.

A mixture of rain and flavored lip-gloss.

She's the history that's made at night

Her hands moved around his waist and one sneaked its way just past the hem of his shirt to graze the skin on his back.

She smiled against his lips through the kiss and he couldn't help but smile with her.

She's my kind of rain
