Title: Player of Love
Rating: Not sure. I forgot all about this story. XD
Summary: Draco has put his family and business life before love for the last ten years. He has been hurt so many times to the point that he is calling it quits. Draco claims than if true love was real, he should have found it by now. Now it's up to the two most important men in Draco's life to help learn to love again.
Author's note: I'm not sure if I can finish this story, but if even one person likes it I'll find an ending for it even if it's not the best in the world. XD (I hate when author getting it sounding soooo good and then get writers block!)
Prologue
A worn man stumbles into the living room from the kitchen with his rewarmed TV dinner and a luke-warm beer. He flips on the TV to the only channel he gets on the cheap set. The screen flips on, and we see a well-dressed man standing in front of an expansive mansion:
"Good evening." He greets, "My name is Dex, and I'll be your host for tonight's episode of Player of Love. This is where we take one single looking for love, in this case one Draco Malfoy, and introduce them to twenty potentential suitors. This is the episode where they all get to meet each other, after tonight, we will be sending one person home each week while Draco gets to know the rest.
"Now, let's meet every one! First, the lucky bacolor himself: Draco Malfoy. Mr. Malfoy is a Hogwarts graduate, Slytherin, who has been rather successful in the field of international trade. His wife of five years died about ten years ago leaving Draco alone to raise their only son, Scorpius. Scorpius, along with his grandfather, Lucius, volunteered Draco for our show.
"Now onto our potential suitors. Being as Mr. Malfoy is a man of open taste, we have ten women, and ten men for Mr. Malfoy to 'meet 'n' greet'. Ladies first: Emma, a lovely blonde from just outside Germany. Maggie, a waitress from a famous local pizza parlor. Jane, a brown eyed beauty from Ireland. Tammy, our African American competitor. Debbie, our quiet little church mouse with a heart of gold. Cat has a fiery temper, and hair to match! Abby, is a grounded, well rounded individual. Wile, in contrast, Izzy is spacy and fun. Kit is a bookworm, and Nicki is a sporty active go-get-'er.
"And now for our Gents: First off we have Malice, the very definition of tall dark and handsome. Louise is an over the top Spaniard, Jay is a grease monkey who owns his own garage. Noah is an acclaimed scholar who currently teaches at the Black Stone Academy of Sorcery in Salam, Mass. Luke is a 'good ol' boy' from the country. KC is a top rank Auror. David is a successful bartender who works in several 'A' list circuit bars. Jacob makes his living working with animals of all shapes and sizes. Ken is a worldwide top model. And our last is the very successful partner is the ever famous 'Weasley Wizarding Weezes', George.
"Draco is returning home tonight after a long business trip, he'll be meeting everyone, and we'll be getting under way. I do hope you'll stay tuned and watch as this unfolds, here at Malfoy Manor."
The screen fades to commercial along with catchy theme music...
