Elisha was sitting in her dorm room for an hour crying over the loss of her twin brother. She hated herself for not trying harder to stop them from taking him away.
I'm never going to see him again. How could I let them do that? How could I let them take him away? She stood on the floor and dropped to her knees. She put her hands together and prayed. "God be with him. Protect him. Help him," she felt warm tear run down her cheek, "Don't let him die by their hands. Please God, I need him more than anything."
She stood up and wiped the tears from her eyes. She walked out of the dorm room and across the field to the Rec Center which was blaring rock music. As she walked through the doors all eyes turned towards her than towards Alex, who got up from his seat and walked towards her.
"Hey Sally," he started.
"don't talk to me ever," Elisha snapped, "It your fault he's gone. If you hadn't started that stupid fight he would still be here. It's all your fault." She turned around and started to walk away.
Alex grabbed her shoulder, turned her around, and said, "Get over that loser Jerry and be with a real man.
With those words Elisha took Alex's hand off her shoulder and twisted as hard as she possibly could, "Elijah is twice the man you could ever be." A few seconds later she realized what she had done; she had revealed her brother's real identity. Elisha let go of his hand and turn to leave once more.
"He told you is real name?" Alex gasped rubbed his sore arm.
"No he didn't," Elisha started, "I've known all along. Elijah, or Jerry, isn't my boyfriend, he's my brother. I didn't date you Alex because I can't stand not because of Elijah. Now if you excuse me I have figure out how to get my brother back."
She walked out the doors and across the field to the black iron gates the separated her and the mansion that her brother was dragged into earlier that evening. She said out loud, "I will get you back, Elijah. That's a promise."
