Lucy settled into a seat tiredly, feeling drained. She'd gotten more than enough rest the night before. In fact, she's positive she'd gotten over ten hours sleep, which is why she found it slightly odd as to why she still felt exhausted, like the time she went on a mission( a giant beast was attacking a village at night times, targeting the children and giving nightmares) and by the time she'd returned, she swears she was dead on her feet. As if to push the point, A yawn passes her lips, and she mutters glumly, "sheesh, people would think I hadn't gotten any sleep ". Her forehead, rest on the table.
" well isn't it? " A soft, feminine voice questions. Startled, she straightens in her seat at the familiar voice of Mirajane. when had she gotten there? she'd barely made a sound! Shaking off her confusion for the time being, she writes it off as her worn state and blinks, giving Mirajane a smile. " Actually, I had a lot more sleep than I usually do. I don't know what it is, maybe I'm over sleeping? " She suggests aloud, frown tugging delicate eyebrows slightly. Her face becomes thoughtful for a second before she shakes it off again and sends the quietly concerned Mirajane another smile. " well who cares, I'll just sleep earlier tonight sometime. Anyway, I was wondering if you've seen Natsu and Happy? "
The Glass Mirajane was drying stopped for a second before picking up again, as if nothing had happened. She blinked at the white haired mage. Said mage head tilts, and blue eyes crinkle with confusion, " Didn't they tell you Lucy? They'd taken off, sometime this morning with grey, erza and..." Her voice lowers, hesitant, was that slight betrayal? however, before she can think more on it, Mirjane continues, " My little sister. "
Lucy blinks once, twice and then smiles, eyes crinkling slightly. " Lisanna? Good for her! I was meaning to ask her awhile back actually about her returning to the group, would have been great fun to have her on board, well, I mean to rejoin the group. " she quickly amends, smile sweet upon her lips. She'd been unsure on whether Lisanna were coming with them or going with her sister and brother.
It seemed she was coming back with the group and to be honest, she really didn't mind one bit. After all, being in a group for so long and then disappearing, only to reappear? well there was a lot of catching up in the team. Also, she wanted to get to know the younger Struass too. she had not spoken much with her, this was her opportunity.
Mirajane sighed, heavily. Her shoulders drooped in what appeared to be relief. " well, that's good. For a second I thought you'd be angry or sad thinking you might have been replaced. " Lucy stared up at the elder Strauss, with a roll of her tired orbs, she huffs, " Of course not, where do you get such notions Mira-chan?...actually," A yawn leaves her lips yet again breaking her sentence, " Never-mind, don't answer that. Although, I appreciate your concern Mira-chan, It's really unnecessary. " Her brows lower thoughtfully, " However, when those two get back..." sentence hanging threateningly in the air. There's hell to pay.
Mira-jane giggles, turns briefly, clattering utensils filled the silience and then she's turning back, smile on her face as she sets down a small cup of tea, sided with a small slice of cake. " Here, have a piece, fresh out of the oven with a tea and head to bed from here. "
lucy digs through her wallet, only halting when a dainty hand gives her pause. Glancing up, Mira-chan smile still in place. she shakes her head, pale hair swaying with the motion. " Don't worry about paying Lucy, I'm sure Natsu will be happy to pay when he returns! "
She tilts her head, curiously but relents, muttering under her breath, " If he doesn't destroy the mission first..."
Mira Turns, making her way down the bench to serve another customer.
