Personal Hell…
Sasuke shifted his stance and ran at Naruto. He threw a punch that was immediately dodged. They kept on fighting until finally Sasuke won. As they lay there they chatted or rather Naruto chatted about nothing and Sasuke listened. They came to their last fight…the valley of the end. A massive fight.
Sasuke was hovering over Naruto's face when his ocean eyes opened a bit and he spoke.
"You, Sasuke, are my personal hell" the endless blue eyes closed and Naruto drifted off into unconsciousness.
Sasuke always wondered what he meant.
…Personal Heaven…
Naruto glared at Sasuke who stared impassively back. The rest of the rookie nine stood behind Naruto. The blonde stepped forward despite all the warnings shouted at him. Sasuke mirrored. They fought for a bit before they came to a draw.
"Personal Hell?" Sasuke asked as if 2 years hadn't gone by.
"Personal heaven" Naruto replied, understanding dawned.
…Everything…
As they hugged they felt like they had been together forever and not apart for 4 years. Now they felt like they were complete and Naruto said so…
"My everything"
…And More.
Sasuke's heart leapt when he heard Naruto say,
"My everything" He sighed with a smile playing at the corner of his lips and replied,
"And more" he felt Naruto smile into his neck and he couldn't help it, an out of character smile spread across his face.
But understand that through all of this, you'll still be…
He noticed that it wasn't rain that was making his face wet, it was tears. But why was he crying? He realised that he was numb, not from cold but from shock. He understood that he would never be warm, not because his blood was cold but because his own personal sun was gone. And then his brain worked it out.
Tears, numbness and coldness. And why? Because he had nothing…no, no one, to ever fix him again.
They lowered the coffin into the ground and buried his love. After the funeral he read the tomb stone one last time.
