It had been quite the normal afternoon. Things were calm, normal, savor the regular bustle and hustle of Boston's streets.

Haytham took in all this serenity as he strolled about, petting the dogs, smiling at the kids, tipping his hat at the women who walked by. It was just…perfect.

Until he saw his son making a "V" shape on his mouth with his tongue sticking through it.

Haytham nearly screamed as he darted for his son. Who seemed to be making the courtesans giggle madly, a few glaring at him even, but nevertheless, he was on his son like lightning, Connor having no time to really react as he grabbed his arm.

"Where did you learn that?" Haytham yanked Connor into the nearest alleyway as fast as he could, before the women bombarded him or the guards saw.

"Learn what?" he was flabbergasted by the sudden grab, and seemed to be trying to recollect what had just happened.

"That…that…obscene gesture!" Haytham seethed.

"Oh? This…?" and he did it again, making a "v" with his fingers and wiggling his tongue in between them. Haytham flushed and smacked his hand down. "What's wrong with it?" he asked, irritated that his father had slapped him again.

"Everything! That is a sickening gesture and is just…demeaning towards women! Do you know what that…means? No, stop," Haytham held up a finger before Connor could say anything. "First, who taught you that?" Like he had to even ask, he was saying the name just as Connor was.

"Thomas Hickey." Connor said, and Haytham did too.

"Right, of course."

"He said it would…help me?" Connor cocked his head to the side, like a confused puppy.

Damn that man, I'll kick his drunken arse.

"Just…don't."

"Why? What does it mean?" He was growing irritated. He had stepped forward and was frowning at Haytham.

With a deadpan look, Haytham decided not to spare his son with this. So, he looked his son dead in the eye and said;

"Stick your tongue in their vagina." And Haytham turned around, his cape 'swooshing' behind him as he darted down the opposite direction of the alleyway, leaving his son tomato red and leaving quickly to apologize to the women who were giggling and glaring nearby.
