Link, The Hero of Time,
She wants to turn back time, warp you back to the home which you once knew and loved. She does not feel it is fair for you to have lost a precious moment of your childhood, and I fear that in the process your memories will be erased. In fact, I am almost positive that she will erase everything you have come to know and love throughout your adventure. You will go back to the carefree child you were before your heroic journey began, and you will not remember anything of your bravery and courage. You will not remember the hardships, the battles, and you will not remember that you are the greatest hero that Hyrule has come to see. The thing I fear most, though, is that you will not remember me. My name is Sheik. Sheik of the Sheikah. I taught you many songs on the ocarina she gave you, and I helped you during many periods of distress in your adventure.
I have grown to rather love you, Hero. It brings my heart great sadness to think that you will no longer have knowledge of me anymore. However, I will remember you, and she will remember you. You just will not remember us.
Please, Hero, if you happen to ever feel frightened or lonely, search your heart for me, and whisper my name into the air. I will always come to you, and always help you. I beg of you to call for me, my heart will hear you. This is my promise to you, Hero. Promise me that you will try to remember me. You are truly a brave and amazing human being, and I know you will not let me down. Please enjoy your old life, and make the most out of it. I know you will succeed in everything you do.
For now I say goodbye, Hero. Remember to connect with your heart and call my name in times of need. Just as you did not let Hyrule down, I will not let you down.
