World Apart

His shirt came away easy in Ennis's hands.

All day Ennis had worked the mountain top, guarding and keeping the sheep.

Jack came up this evening instead of Ennis going down, brought supper, couldn't wait for him, missed him, wanted him too much.

'I love you', said Jack, staring into Ennis's eyes.

'I love you Jack', said Ennis, kissing his soft lips and entering him again against the rock, holding both Jack's wrists above with one hand, capturing him, as if this was necessary.

Jack arched backwards – Ennis kissed his soft neck then sucked and tongued his beautiful nipples, ravishing down.

'Mmm Jack!' moaned Ennis, coming into him, caressing his silken shaft.

Then, like the morning, like life itself, Jack came – became one with his Ennis.

Below them and a few miles away in Signal, in the office, working late, Aguirre pondered on these two boys, decided to bring them down in a few days - his excuse good enough: a storm a brewin' - bad weather.

He knew all about them, but there was work to be done and they had too many distractions – he would cut their pay.

Having decided, he rose and locked up the trailer, got into his automobile and made his way homeward to – his cold wife and indifferent son.

Above on Brokeback : 'Darlin', murmured Jack.

'Yes…..ma darlin'', said Ennis, kissing Jack gently, then wrapping both of them up in the old blanket against the cold - stayed up on their mountain under the dark and friendly sky - slept in comfort and forgetting until the mornin' came.
