This is my first fan-fic. It is short right now, because I don't really know if I should continue. I have never written a fan-fic before, so hopefully this one might turn out good. I will write more if y'all want me too, though. :/
Disclaimer: I do not own anything Kingdom Hearts related (i.e. characters, logos, names, etc).
FORGOTTEN
"W-We're back." The brown-haired boy smiled. The red-headed girl outstretched her hand and her beautiful white smile encroached her face once again. "You're home."
The 17-year old boy sighed, laying down on the paupu tree, letting the cool breeze move his spiky brown hair along with it.
"C'mon Sora. Let's swim. It's really nice out," A silver-haired, 18-year old boy came up to Sora and sat down on what little room the boy left on the paupu tree. His hair was cut short, much like it was 3 years ago. Sora just stared out into the water, the sun slowly setting under the horizon. "C'mon Sora. You haven't been the same ever since she left. What happened to my pal; the one that always looked for adventure?" Sora looked away from the ocean and looked into his friend's blue, desperate eyes.
"One, she has a name and it's Kairi. Two, he's still here," Sora stopped in mid-sentence and looked away from the other boy. "But it's not all of him. Half of him is still missing; out there in who-knows-where. I'm just waiting to reunite us." A small twitch on the corner of Sora's mouth made it seem as if he was actually smiling. Something he hasn't done for about 2 years, right around the time that Kairi moved. "I mean, Riku, it might actually go back to the ol' days soon, when it was just the three of us."
"Whatever." Riku stood up from the tree and began to walk away. Sora's smile faded as he heard Riku mumble something that sounded like, "You're just wasting your life wishing upon a broken star." The brown-eyed boy shot him a sideways glance, but Riku didn't seem to notice.
