Gone but not forgotten
Chapter 1- The New Arrivals
James, Lily, Sirius, Remus, Fred, Tonks and Severus watch Harry's life after the battle. Also characters that hadn't died in the books will die in this story.
James Potter was anxiously watching the Battle that was going on in Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
"Lils, do you think Harry will be ok?" asked James who was worried about his son.
"I don't know", sobbed Lily close to tears.
"Harry is a brave lad, he'll be fine", said Sirius reassuringly.
A huge crack suddenly occurred behind them.
"Doesn't that usually mean there's a new arrival?" asked Sirius.
"Yeah, I wonder who it is", said James.
"Hopefully it's that Mary McDonald that was in our year at Hogwarts. She was a beauty", said Sirius blushing when he realised he'd said it out loud.
There was a woman there however it was a young woman with pink hair.
"Tonks!" said Sirius going to hug his cousin.
"Who's this?" asked Lily.
"This is Nymphadora Tonks, my cousin. She prefers to be called Tonks though", said Sirius.
"Wait Tonks, didn't you marry Moony?" asked James.
"Moony?" asked Tonks looking blank.
"He means Remus", explained Lily.
"Oh yes. I married Remus. In fact we had a son recently", said Tonks.
"Now I don't mean to be rude, but when is this hallucination going to end? I have to help Remus", said Tonks.
"Tonks, don't you understand", said Lily.
"Understand what?" asked Tonks.
"You're dead", explained Sirius.
Before Tonks could continue there was another crack and Remus appeared.
"Oh Remus, poor Teddy, you're dead too!" said Lily.
James and Sirius went over and bear hugged their old friend.
"Prongs, Padfoot, let go of me!" said Remus whose face was going red.
"Hello, Remus", said Lily.
"Hey Lily", replied Remus.
Yet another crack occurred and this time it was Fred Weasley that appeared.
"Remus, Tonks, Sirius nice to see you", said Fred.
"Didn't know you'd died Remus", said Fred shaking his hand.
"Oh Fred how did you die? You're so young!" said Tonks hugging Fred.
"I got crushed by a falling wall. I don't know which Death Eater did it", said Fred.
"Poor George", thought Remus as he saw Fred mingling.
"Hello there, I'm Prongs", said James shaking Fred's hand.
"Prongs? As in the Marauders Map?" asked Fred in disbelief.
"Yes I am but I also like to be called James. James Potter in fact", said James smiling.
"Wait, you're Harry's dad aren't you?" asked Fred.
"Yes", replied James proudly.
"Then Mr Potter or should I call you James. I should tell you that Harry is dating my sister-"
"Ginny, we know we can see everything", finished Lily.
For the fourth time a crack occurred and the familiar figure of Severus Snape appeared.
Severus who'd been expecting James and Sirius to target him straight away was surprised when James shook his hand.
"Thank you so much for what you've done for Harry", said James.
Lily walked over to her old friend and kissed him on the cheek.
"Thanks Sev", said Lily.
Severus was lost for words.
"So shall we start watching the life of Harry James Potter?" asked Sirius grinning.
"We shall. I'll get the popcorn", said Remus mockingly.
