She Was

She lived here...or, at least, she used to. Drabble.

Ziva David is a great friend. She cares about the team (but she'll deny it if you ask about Dinozzo), especially Gibbs.

Or, at least, she was.

Her home is Washington, D.C. She works for NCIS, as part of one of the best teams it's ever seen. She likes music, and running, and kicking ass.

But she doesn't live there anymore, nor does she work there, and maybe she doesn't have time for the things she likes to do (besides the kicking ass part, that's part of her job).

And as much as she tried to hide it, she fiercly potects Dinozzo (not that she'd ever admit it).

Or, at least, she had.

Timothy McGee sighed, and tore his gaze away from the empty desk. No amount of wishing or sadness can bring her back to them. They have to wait for when she's ready.
