"Brina."

She turns to look at the young man next to her and wonders to herself why he sounds so depressed.

Time has passed, they have grown taller, grown thinner, they aren't the children they used to be anymore.

"What is it?"

His grip on her hand tightens, "Do you want to get married?"

"What?!"

Her face is bright red, she is stuttering incoherently and some people must've overheard them, because she can hear the hushed whispers behind her back.

"I-"

...but she doesn't get a chance to answer. He is already leaning down and drowning out her stutters with a kiss.

They break apart.

She slaps him.

"You want to marry me?"

They are laying out on the grass now, hidden away from the people and prying eyes. The distant music could be heard from the party that was still ongoing.

Puck is staring up at the sky, "Of course I do."

Sabrina stays silent before shifting around on the grass, till she is facing her boyfriend, "Why?"

"Does it matter?"

She scowls at him. "Hell yeah, it matters."

"Fine." Puck rolls over to face her, his blonde hair falling across his eyes and he smirks. "Because I love you."

Again, she stammers and her face turns red. The words just refuse to come out.

The smelly, arrogant, fairy-boy has just asked her to marry him.

Finally she says, "Why did you ask during the party?"

He shrugs, "It seemed as good as time as any."

"It made a scene! People were talking!"

"You slapped me! Of course that is going to cause a scene."

"You caught me by surprise, you fool!"

"What? Should I send out annoucement memos to your desk whenever I decide to propose you?!"

"Why yo-" Sabrina stops and she stares at the ground, "You plan...to propose again?"

"I plan propose as many times as it takes till you say ye-."

This time she leans up and kisses him, because he really does talk too much.

"So, what's your answer?"

She is staring up at the sky, the stars are glittering bright, they are so so beautiful and her hand reaches across the small space and entangles with her boyfriend's hand.

The wind is blowing gently, the stars sparkle, the moon glows and she mesmerized by it, the silence is overwhelming.

They alone and quiet.

It feels so right.

This is how it should be forever.

She breaks the silence with a word that she knows she will never regret, "Yes."

He is there. He will always be there.

Sabrina takes a deep breath before speaking again.

"I love you too, idiot."
