Clove stirred in her sleep... Katniss glanced down at the girl she was cuddling in her arms, and smiled gently.
The couple was on their way to District nine, then they'd go on to district ten, etc.
It was eleven PM and Katniss knew they wouldn't be at their destination for a long while, but the older girl wanted to stay and watch her little Clove rest.
Katniss loved the younger girl so much. All she wanted was to protect, care, and never leave the girl's side.
"Oh, Sweetie why do you have to be so cute?" The Brunette asked herself, still looking at her lover.
Then Clove's eyes opened slowly as she yawned.
"Katniss, what time is it?" The Black Haired Girl asked.
"Around 11:20," Katniss replied, nuzzling her head against Clove's.
"I love you," Clove responded, returning the affection.
"I love you more, My Sweetie Pie," Katniss said kissing her girl softly on the lips.
"I'm so happy I'm yours..." The Smaller Girl squeaked.
"And I'm so happy that you're mine," The Older Girl smirked, before continuing with her words. "Now then go back to sleep," Katniss finished.
"Okay..." Clove responded, yawning as she closed her eyes again.
"So happy I found you, My Darling... So happy I found you," The Brunette whispered gently in the other girl's ear, before she too fell asleep.
