A girl sighed as she finished her daily tutoring session from her mother since she was home schooled, but what she didn't expect to see in the living room was a man in baggy clothes and a disheveled overall appearance.
"My little Tsu-Chan! It's been so long, how is my baby girl?!" He chirped as his facial expression went from blank to excited as he threw himself on his child, only to be dodged.
"Don't touch me. What's with that outfit, you're supposed to be a game developer, not some homeless person." The girl, now identified as Sawada Tsukina, looked upon her father, who was giving out tiny tears of self pity, with a great deal of disgust.
"To think I came all the way out here to let you have my newest release.." She perked up and looked at him with slight happiness in her eyes. "But I'll only give it to you for a hug-"
Tsuki gave him a swift hug and stole the glasses and beanie looking hat before looking surprised. "Wait, you're the one that created "Revitalized"?"
He pouted at her stubbornness and lack of affection, but soon smiled in pride at his work. "I need a positive review on your blog to gain more popularity and, of course, you will need to promote your character as well."
She rolled her eyes and put the beanie and glasses on giving an accent to her current outfit and style.
Her hair was long, wavy, and a dark caramel color that flowed calmly to mid-thigh. Her eyes are wide, shiny, and doe-like as they replicate the exact color of her hair as her eyelashes created a slight shadow upon both her eyes and cheeks. The game glasses, which were styled after folding reading glasses, adorned her face as the black beanie emphasized her face shape and whatnot. She currently wore black skinny jeans and orange converse along with an orange under armour muscle shirt, both of which outlined her feminine charms.
"Also, you'll have to be a male character so that you don't get ravished by any wolves playing the game!"
Tsuki rolled her eyes not getting the right understanding of the 'wolves'. "As if I'd let something so petty happen, but whatever." She added the last part as she looked at her father doing puppy dog eyes.
"Then let me explain! The glasses you have are the only ones existent seeing as I made them. They let you see who is a player and their username, level, race, and job in the real world."
Tsuki interrupted his explanation with a raised brow. "And what exactly would I need this for?"
"You see, everyone besides you will look similar to their character unless they choose to be a beast of some sort. You'll need this to look for members of, well, your guild, which isn't allowed to be formed unless you have at least seven characters."
Tsuki nodded at the explanation before pointing to the beanie. "And this?"
Iemitsu smiled giddily. "That is the system itself. There should be a button inside to turn it on. It sends signals to your brain, allowing you to enter the game world with or without being physically conscious. This counsel actually comes in many different forms as long as it goes on your head." He looked at his daughter before beaming. "And you look as perfect as I thought you would in it!"
The girl ignored her father and sat on the couch before turning it on. "This better be worth my time, or I'll be giving it the worse review ever."
Iemitsu cried about how mean his daughter is and whatnot only to be ignored as Tsuki turned the system on closing her eyes.
At first, everything was dark, but soon enough, a blinding white light consumed the area all around her when a woman's robotic voice rang throughout the place as text appeared in front of her following each word said.
"Hello and welcome to 'Revitalized', where you can live a life brand new from yours on earth. Would you like to start a new game?"
