It is a mild summer day.

Hermione and Andromeda are sitting in the veranda overlooking the garden.

'Do you resent it?', Hermione whispers.

'Resent what?', replies Andromeda.

'That you lost almost your family, while Narcissa's is safe', said Hermione.

'You mean even though I fought on the 'good' side?', Andromeda's voice is sardonic.

'Yes', Hermione replied, 'sometimes things seems so unfair'

Andromeda is silent for a while.

'Sometimes the resentment is a tiny irritating pebble in my shoes ... I just try to remember that since I have never walked in her shoes, I can't compare her life to mine'.
