Morning Comes Too Soon
Tokitoh rolled over as the bright sunlight crept its way across his pillow and walked its blinding fingers across his closed eyelids. He groaned as the alarm chose that moment to wail. Swinging his hand out wildly and slapping the snooze bar, Tokitoh curled even closer to the other body occupying the small twin bed. The cat practically purred as it inhaled the distinct, masculine scent of his partner, enjoying the warmth and close contact.
"Nn," Kubota groaned sleepily, forcing himself to wake and pressing his body even closer to the other's as he stretched, reveling in the delicious warmth. He sighed, climbing out of bed, leaving his partner alone in the sheets. "Tokitoh…" The cat didn't answer. "Tokitoh…" Still no response. "You have to get up… we'll be late for school…"
"Dun care," came the muffled reply as, having been abandoned by his human-heater, Tokitoh burrowed himself deeper under the covers.
"Tokitoh…" Kubota said, slight warning in his ever-calm voice. "Mah, whatever," he said, turning to leave the room. "You can be the one to face Katsuragi all by yourself, then."
"Hidoi ne, Kubo-chan," Tokitoh pouted, sticking his tongue out at the man as he detangled himself from the still warm sheets. "Yare yare," he mumbled, padding into the bathroom. When he came back out the alarm clock was once again screaming. The cat sighed as he shut the annoying device off, grumbling to himself. "Morning comes too soon…"
