Bee Sting
"Jackie it's Catherine, Nick just passed out, he's not breathing, I don't know what is going on, he's being rushed to Desert Palm, I'm in the ambulance with him." Catherine said, her phone call woke Jackie from a deep sleep in the middle of the night.
As soon as she was able to get the kids dressed Jackie was speeding over to her parent's house.
After frantically dropping them off she sped to the hospital.
"Catherine, what is going on?" She yelled as she saw Catherine sitting on a bench in the hospital hallway.
"I don't know, we were at our scene and he just collapsed.." She said as she stood up and wrapped Nick's wife in a warm embrace.
"Hi, are you Mrs. Stokes?"
"Yes." Jackie replied as she turned to her side to see a doctor standing there.
"I'm doctor Turner, I've been treating your husband, he had a very severe allergic reaction to a bee sting but because he was brought in so quickly he's going to be fine."
"Oh thank god." Jackie said relieved.
The doctor smiled at her and gave her shoulder a gentle pat.
"Wait, did you say he had an allergic reaction to a bee sting?" She asked.
"Yes Ma'am."
"Nick's not allergic to bees." Jackie said confused.
