Prologue
Princess Reina of Mars sighs wearily as she watches the Inner Guardian Senshi train in the Martian royal training field. She was the one Mars had chosen to rule and yet her older sister had gotten the right of being Sailor Mars. She had nothing against Rei except for the fact that she should be the Guardian Senshi not her older sister. Rei couldn't use the high powers of Mars like she could and she wasn't allowed to use her powers except for practice and in defense of Mars. That was just absolute bull. That damned Moon Queen that everyone worshiped had chosen her older sister simply because Rei was less inclined to think for herself and was the perfect little soldier.
" Reina-hime, Prince Endymion is here to see you. "
" Misa, send for Prince Daisuke. I'd prefer to have company while dealing with Endymion. Also send for Taichi-taichou. Tell Isa to show Endymion to the receiving wing and to give him and whatever companions refreshments. " Reina states, she may only be fourteen but, she was not an idiot. She did not trust Endymion in the least.
Half an hour later Reina enters the room with the captain of her guard and her fiancé, " I am sorry to keep you waiting, Prince Endymion but, getting my guards organized on such short notice was difficult. General Jadeite, a pleasure to see you again. "
" No need to apologize, Princess Reina, we did show up without warning. Jadeite wishes to talk to you since your mother is unavailable. " Endymion says.
Reina looks over Jadeite, " You're here to ask for my sister's hand, aren't you? "
" I am. "
" Taichi, entertain Prince Endymion in another room. This is not for his ears, perhaps show him the training hall for guests. " Reina orders.
Once Endymion was gone Reina activates the privacy protocols, " Jadeite, Knight of Patience and Harmony, where do you stand? "
Jadeite comes to attention, " You know of the unrest on Earth. "
" I do, now I don't know if Endymion actually loves my hime or if he just wants her power. What I do know is that Beryl is a dangerous element if left unchecked and that is just what Endymion and the Queen are doing. Mars, at least, is always ready to go to war. Unlike my sister I have seen what will happen shortly, you will be turned against her and kill her, is that what you want, Jadeite? "
The blonde Knight pales, " No, I love Rei, is there any way to avoid this? "
" A few but the best one would be for you to go through the trials all Martian Warriors must undertake. It grants them immunity to all forms of control. " Reina says.
" There is another option for him, Reina-hime. " Daisuke says.
Reina blinks and then her violet eyes widen slightly, " I see, you would have him do that? Are you sure, Daisuke-oji? "
" I am, Reina-hime. Knight Jadeite, on my planet we have a different means of avoiding being controlled. We face our own inner darkness and accept it. It means you would have to face and accept everything about yourself that you have denied up until this point. " Daisuke explains.
Jadeite squares himself and meets the younger male's sepia toned eyes, " Your method, Daisuke-oji. "
The Prince of Night smiles, " Come with me and we'll get you set up. " Daisuke says.
Twenty minutes later Daisuke returns to Reina, " His trial is underway, Reina-ai. Is he really the only one you can save? "
" Hai, he loves my big sister and makes her happy. I have no reason to intercede on behalf of the others. " Reina says.
Daisuke sighs, " Reina-ai, you'll fight, won't you? "
" You know I will, Dai-chan. "
Daisuke runs a hand through his burgundy hair before pulling her into a kiss. Daisuke had asked for her hand two months prior and had passed the tests put before him by her mother, which allowed him the right to ask her personally. Queen Reianna had appreciated the fact that he had asked her for permission to ask for Reina's hand not to marry her. Daisuke would never insult Reina like that. That was something Reina greatly appreciated, her arms wind around his neck and her fingers twist through the bits of hair within her reach. Before returning Daisuke had sent Kisa to inform Endymion that Jadeite was undergoing special training for the next little bit. Misa had been sent to inform Rei of this fact as well.
Fall:
Reina snarls as her sister loses ground and she stands up tall, her sigil lighting up proudly on her brow, " Mars Imperial Fire Storm! "
" Night Stalk! " Daisuke says, using his daggers he tears through any idiot that tries to get near his fiancée. Members of the Night Royal family were exceedingly dangerous in combat, more so than any Uranian, Jovian, and Martian combined. Only Sailor Saturn could compete in terms of lethality.
Taichi could be seen cutting down enemies as well with his saber, that was when Sailor Mercury fell to her lover. Jadeite could be seen defending her sister, Dai's method had indeed saved him from the brainwashing of the general populace and the protection would carry over into their next lives. Reina's Fire Storm slams into Queen Metalia and sends the dark entity back a few paces even as more enemies fall to Reina's power. Reina shakes her head, had the rest of the silver Millennium gotten so used to peace that they didn't know how to fight anymore? Her own sister could barely handle the enemies that made it past Jadeite to her.
Why had her older sister been chosen again? Reina leans back to dodge an energy attack and an ofuda is in her right hand immediately, " Rin Pyou Tou Sha Kai Jin Retsu Zai Zen…Aku Ryu Tai San! "
The ofuda flies straight and true, smacking into Beryl's face readily enough. " Martian bitch, die. "
Reina rolls her eyes, " Just because you were weak enough to allow yourself to become a puppet out of petty jealousy does not make me a bitch. " Reina fires back, ramping up the intensity of her Fire Storm. More enemies drop and Beryl screams obscenities at her, " If I'd've had my way, Beryl, you would have been eliminated before you became a threat. Grow up, so he chose someone else. Metalia is not someone you align yourself with! " Reina snaps, her power increasing even more, proving that she was the true inheritor of the Martian Power.
" Venus Love Me Chain! "
" Shine Snow Illusion! "
" Sparkling Wide Pressure! "
" Burning Mandala! "
Jadeite sends his own energy attack out and Reina sighs, she had warned the Queen of what would happen if she did nothing about Beryl. Daisuke is still defending her fiercely along with Taichi. " Solar Bomb! "
Standing tall and proud in yellow and orange is Eternal Sailor Sun, Princess Sora. Her bows are orange, her body suit is white, her choker is red with a yellow star on it, her gloves are wrist length, colored red with yellow cuffs, her tiara is silver with a yellow star shaped gem, the shoulders are a see through orange, her cape is pale orange, her boots are yellow with red trim at the top, at the bottom of her yellow skirt is an orange stripe with a red stripe above that. Under her primary yellow skirt are two more sheer skirts, an orange one over a red one. Her mid back length orange hair is held back by a red hair ribbon and she wears barrettes similar to her lunar counterpart. "Ai to omoiyari no tame ni, watashi wa kanari sērā fuku no senshi, sērā taiyō gozen taiyō no namae de, watashi wa, fujunbutsu o hanarete moyasudeshou(For love and compassion, I am the pretty sailor-suited soldier, Sailor Sun. In the name of the sun I'll burn away impurity). "
Reina smiles, " Nice timing, Sun. "
" Well, someone has to fight for our system, the Queen certainly isn't right now, is she? " Sailor Sun calls back, " Solar Storm! "
The Solar Storm combines with Reina's Fire Storm decimating the enemy forces and pushing back Metalia even further. That was when two attacks slam into them and Reina manages to hold both parts even as she spins around to see Daisuke engaged in battle with Sailor Uranus while Taichi was fighting Sailor Storm, Sailor Jupiter's sister. Reina's eyes narrow and her power skyrockets, " Dai, forgive me. Mars Imperial FLASHOVER! "
Daisuke was quick to behead his opponent and spin around, " Reina, no! "
" Aishiteru, Daisuke. " Reina murmurs as her body glows red and then explodes like a supernova.
Daisuke's sepia toned eyes widen in anguish even as Sailor Sun also unleashes a kamikaze attack to push back Metalia while Taichi runs Sailor Storm through, his brown eyes hard and shining, " Daisuke, we can't let their sacrifice be in vain. "
A blackish purple glow surrounds the Prince of the Night Court and his royal armor forms over his body, the sigil glowing bright on his forehead, " Oh, it won't be, Serenity-hime, it's time for you to step up and defend your home! "
At the palace Princess Serenity's eyes widen as Daisuke's words reach her and her hand clenches around the Crescent Moon Wand. She'd watched as Reina and Sora sacrificed everything for her Queendom, " Metalia, Beryl, it's me you want! "
Serenity's words echo across the battlefield and she places her star seed, her Silver Crystal in the slot on the Crescent Moon Wand. She would not let the sacrifices be in vain. If her mother refused to fight then she would, " Moon Healing Escalation! "
Daisuke smiles at this, " Nyx, my mother star, grant unto Princess Serenity your power so that we may defeat this evil! " Daisuke had felt his sister fall in battle, so he was the only one whom could grant Serenity more power.
Only he and Taichi were still alive on the battlefield and they teleport to the princess, protecting her. Daisuke's words had reached her before she had killed herself in her grief over Endymion dying to protect her and Makoto's death which cut her soul to the quick, her other half was gone. However, Daisuke had survived the loss of his other half to continue the fight and she could do no less. Jadeite had died protecting his Martian princess. " You can do this, Serenity-hime. You're not alone. " Taichi says.
" Give Saturn the order, Hime. " Daisuke murmurs, wrapping his hands around her own, helping her to wield the power at her disposal.
Queen Serenity snarls, her daughter just had to gain a backbone now, huh? She charges, sword raised and Taichi whips around taking the sword meant for the princess even while in his last moments ending the queen by beheading her. " Saturn, this is your princess speaking, WAKE UP! "
In Titan Castle Sailor Saturn, Princess Hotaru's violet eyes snap open and she henshins immediately, teleporting to the moon, " Hime, what has happened? "
" The Earth's forces overtaken by Queen Metalia have attacked. I need you to ensure a new life for all of us. Only yourself, Daisuke, and I still live. " Serenity murmurs.
Saturn pales further than she already was, " Everyone? "
" Hai, Reina and Sora went supernova. " Daisuke says.
The pair increase the power flow and the evil is sealed away. Serenity manages to place a directive so the citizens of the Silver Millennium would be reincarnated, " I leave the rest to you, Saturn. "
Serenity falls backwards dead before she hits the ground. Daisuke drops to his knees, panting, " Hotaru-chan, do not revive Queen Serenity, she tried to kill the hime. Reina, we'll meet again my fiery princess. "
He falls forward and Saturn, with tears streaming from her eyes drops her glaive, allowing her power to wash over the entire battle field.
Chapter 1
Crown Game Center:
Hino Reina flips her long black hair over her shoulder as her violet eyes land on a blonde playing the Sailor V game. Said blonde's hair was in pig tails hanging down from two buns. Reina knew whom this was, Tsukino Usagi, an arcade regular and reincarnation of Princess Serenity. Reina remembered her previous life through meditation, " Konnichiwa, Usagi-chan. How was school today? "
" Konnichiwa, Reina-chan. Thanks to you I managed to get a C on my math test. Mama may be less inclined to kill me now. " Usagi says as she continues to play the game.
" Motoki, can I get a strawberry banana milkshake? " Reina calls out.
" Hai, Reina-chan. " the male blonde behind the counter calls out.
Reina smiles as she watches Usagi play. Unlike her older sister she did not attend T A Academy. She went to Odaiba Elementary and played volleyball. It was there she had met Motomiya Davis, her Daisuke reborn. Apparently he didn't like being called Daisuke and preferred Davis. In fact the two of them had just learned about the Digital World, Davis ended up with a Veemon as a partner while she got Bearmon. Davis had picked up the Digi Egg of Courage, the attribute that belonged to Kamiya Taichi or Tai as he preferred. Her crest was Passion, while Courage looked like a sun Passion looked like a flaming arrow.
Reina walks out with Usagi and her eyes narrow when she sees Luna. Apparently it was time for the Dark Kingdom's return, " Usagi-chan, remember that courage burns brightest when all hope seems lost and fear sets in. "
Usagi looks at her friend, why had she said that, " Sayonara, Usagi-chan, tell your kaa-san I said hi. " Reina says and walks off, grabbing up a certain black cat. She needed to talk to Luna before the feline did something stupid.
Luna squirms and Reina says softly, " Unless you want me dropping you, Luna-san, you will desist at once. "
The black cat freezes, how did this girl know her name? Reina carries her into her room and seals it so Rei can't eavesdrop, " Luna, Usagi is not a soldier. You can't just throw her into the deep end and expect her to succeed. " Reina says.
" Who are you? "
" Crown Princess Reina of Mars. My older sister also lives here and is Sailor Mars. Why I was never chosen I don't know. Fully explain everything to Usagi, including the fact that if she accepts she can never leave the life of s Sailor Senshi. Give her a choice, Luna. "
Luna's crimson eyes open wide, " Reina-hime, you blew yourself up. "
" Hai, I did. Go easy on her. Chiba Mamoru is Prince Endymion reincarnated, he's on our side. " Reina says.
" How do you remember? " Luna asks her.
" Meditation, Luna-san. Remember, full disclosure and give her a choice, don't just trick her into the first henshin. " Reina states.
" I understand, Reina-chan. " Luna says and races off.
Reina sighs, " It begins now. I can't let Usagi-chan fight alone. Mars, please, grant me the ability to fight with my princess. "
A dark red henshin wand appears in front of her, bearing a resemblance to the Inner Senshi Henshin wands. The sign of Mars was upon it and words appear in her head, Scorch Power. She stores the wand in subspace and examines her new devices, the digivice and some sort of messaging thing. Curiously she examines it and finds Daisuke in her contact list. Smiling she sends him a message and then works on her homework. It was Rei's turn to reinforce the wards of the shrine.
Once everyone is in bed she slips out and holds up her henshin wand, " Scorch Power! "
Sailor Scorch has orange bows, a dark red scarf and skirt, red high heeled shoes with ribbons twining up her legs from them, a silver tiara with a dark red round gem and dark red star earrings. Her choker was also dark red. Concentrating she senses out the problem area and teleports there, she had managed to master teleportation over short distances recently. She is just in time to see Sailor Moon get surrounded by controlled humans. She walks inside, " I am the pretty suited soldier of passion and battle, Sailor Scorch. In the name of Mars I'll purify you. "
" Sailor Scorch? " Sailor Moon says.
Scorch pulls out several ofuda and holds them up, " Rin Pyou Tou Sha Kai Jin Retsu Zai Zen…Aku Ryu Tai San! "
The controlled humans collapse to the ground and Scorch smirks, " Fire Soul! "
" Moon Tiara Boomerang! "
The two attacks merge and destroy the youma, " You did well, Sailor Moon. When you truly need help I'll be there. " In a flash of red light Sailor Scorch disappears and reappears in her room. She ends the henshin and Reina sighs, Usagi was nowhere near ready for the responsibility of being Princess Serenity.
