So let's begin…
Uchiha Itachi Sharingan at 7, Genin at 8, Chunin at 10 and ANBU Captain at 13, labeled a genius prodigy within his clan and Kohona, except for the one person that treats him as a human being; Ichiraku Ayame.
What many don't know is that Ayame joined the ninja academy alongside Itachi, graduated at the same time as him and s a Jonin level ninja working with her father as a civilian at their ramen shop. Though they don't see each other much there still the best of friends.
"Hey Ayame" Itachi said as he entered the ramen shop
"Itachi, what a nice surprise" Ayame exclaimed smiling, a hint of a blush her cheeks, but went unnoticed to Itachi.
"Nice to see you again too, I'll have the pocky ramen" Itachi said in a monotone voice, but with a slight smile that Ayame caught on his face.
"I still don't know how you can eat that, I mean I made it up when we were kids" Ayame said with a small smile, remembering the old times they had together in the academy and after it.
'But then again I've always had a crush on him then but as times passed who would've known I would actually fall for him. No stop thinking like that, it will never happen he's from a prestigious clan with high standing, while I'm just some lowly ramen making kunoichi' Ayame thought with a small smile and a look of longing in her eyes.
Itachi sensing Ayame's inner turmoil asked if she was okay. Ayame laughed nervously, handed Itachi his order "Everything's fine" She replied.
As Itachi finished his ramen, both sat in comfortable silence, until Ayame broke it.
"I-Itachi-kun" Ayame began nervously not noticing she added "kun" to his name
"Would you mind helping me train for the ANBU exams?" A hint of hope in her voice
Itachi, never one to refuse Ayame said yes. As dusk approached they stood in silence basking in each other's presence, before Itachi left Ayame said "You know Itachi-kun ever since our genin days we never spent much time together" Ayame started out softly "I miss this, I miss us… I miss you" she barley whispered the last part but Itachi's keen ears still caught the whispered words.
"I know I miss you too" Itachi said with a small smile, his last words drifting through the wind. He left knowing that what he is about to do next will break his heart in two and knowing he will never be able to forgive himself for what he was about to do.
Uchiha Itachi's last mission massacre the Uchiha clan, breaking a certain ramen waitress heart in the process.
