A/N: I was at the Arlington National Cemetary Wreath Laying for Wreaths Across America today. I also went last year. The sight of all those graves, laid out in even rows…. It's so sad.

This is for everyone who's buried there, and also for those who died yesterday, 14 December 2012.

I debated doing this with Young Justice, but I think it fits Superman better. But then I realized I wanted Diana to come too….

Just a short, sweet one-shot. This isn't intended as shipping WWxSM. Read into it like that if you wish.

Clark landed on the ground lightly. Most of the League couldn't make it, and if he'd tried to drag Bruce threatened to make him eat Kryptonite if he tried to wake him up that early.

Still, Diana was here. Even if the full "Trinity", as the fans call it, couldn't make it, Wonder Woman and Superman would still be at the cemetery to lay a wreath.

Next to him, Diana landed daintily, though she would deny it if he brought it up. Walking swiftly to one of the trucks parked in the cemetery, they each took one wreath, and thanked the people handing them out. Walking past crowds of active duty and retired military, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, Explorer Scouts, church groups, sports teams, and peope who just wished to come, the pair moved swiftly to a pair of graves. They laid the wreath down on a grave.

Together, they took off. Superman waved to the people below. He flew off, back home to Metropolis. Diana circled around the cemetery for a bit, then returned to the Amazonian Embassy in Themiscrya.

Clark hoped he never forgot the sight of all those graves, lined up in neat rows, covered in wreaths, placed one by one on the graves, by volunteers.
