Dust and Gold
IT was a sunny day even as several busy workers added some gas to the air. Betty knew it would be the perfect day to tell Archie what she truly thought of him. How their ping pong game was so boring now, for it was Ronnie vs. her and poor Archie was the ping pong. She then remembered not to call Archie "poor", she had to diss the dude or she would lose her firey passion. She grabbed the perfect outfit to tell Archie what he was going to miss, she took her blue top that showed her belly button (that Archie loved) and SHORT shorts. She slipped on some striped flip flops and put on a touch of pink glittering lip gloss. She smiled into the mirror as she brushed her hair so it hung straight and pretty.
She pushed open her bedroom door holding her car keys and her phone, "I'm off to go to Archies!" she yelled to her parents, then under her breath she muttered "for the very last time." She backed up her car with Ronnie on speaker phone. "So you're really gonna break up with him? Not that I care, just means more Archie for me, but why?" Ronnie asked, her voice filled with her lovely confusion that Archie loved along with her other outstanding features. "Because he's stupid and useless." "Ok, you're not in the mood to talk I see. Bye" "Bye Ron."
When she finally pulled up to Archie's yellow house she was a burning flame of pure anger, for she had basked in the old dates Archie had put her off on. She knocked on the door and asked Mrs. Andrews to see Archie. I went up to Archie's room and threw open the door, where I found Archie and Jughead playing a video game. "Oh, hey Betty." Archie said pausing the game. "ARCHIE ANDREWS, I'm here to say-say." "Say what Betty?" "That..That. YOU'RE DONE. I'm breaking up with you. Goodbye Archie Andrews." Betty stormed out of the room, with Archie's last crys of "WAIT BETTY!"
She ran to her car, flushed with anger. She began to drive.
Then a shiny red car was in front of her, and she didn't see the red light.
The last thing she remembered was a crash. And then nothing.
