-1"Do you even have any idea how lucky I was to get in to this school mom?" I yelled.
"I really don't care there is a perfectly good state school here that will cost less and you'll get the same education" My Mom said calmly, so calmly infact it just infuriated me even more.
"Mom I don't want to live at home anymore, im 18 I've waited so long to go away to college and take care of myself"
"I'm sorry Ada, your not going"
"Whatever I still have all summer to work on you"
My mom is scared to let me go. I think it is because after my dad walked out, she is scared to let me go. She thinks I'll never come back either. But I would never leave forever. I stay for my little sister and brother mostly. But I still want to get away. I want to know I can take care of myself. With out a man in my life. I think that's where my mom went wrong. She fell in love with my father when she was in high school, she stayed home for him. Never went away and always depended on him. You would think she wouldn't want me to follow in her infamous foots steps, but like I said I have all summer.
That night I went out with my friends to the movies. As always we saw the scariest thing out…hostel 2. To say the least we were scared out of our minds and grossed out. After we went to the diner. From the window I was sitting next to I could see the mansion on the hill. Everyone has heard the stories. Most people deny them , but I think they are true. Right then the biggest, well for a lack of better terms, the biggest asshole in town walked up to the table.
"Hey Ada" Zack said.
"Hi" I said cringing at the thought of him being almost on top of me.
"Want to hang out, get away from these losers"
"These losers are my friends Zack now please back off I can barely breathe"
With that he walked off.
"That kids an idiot" Dana said.
"Yea he's always trying to get with you Ada, I think he likes red heads." sue said.
"He makes me want to throw up" I said pretending to gag and making my friends laugh..
"so what did your mom say about college" dana asked.
"You know the usual asnswer…No" I said sarcastically.
"ha yea that sounds like your mom" dana said.
"Don't worry we are staying so you get to see our bright and shining faces all the time" sue laughed.
"oh yea cause that will make me feel so much better, but any way I'm okay with it for now"
"lets call it a nite I have to work in the morning" sue said.
"yea I'm tired and I have to try and sleep after that movie, all I'm going to think about all nite is being tortured and having m penis cut off" I said giving my friends a joking look.
"okay is there something we should know ada?" dana asked laughing.
"what should we care think about the man she marries" sue said as we all laughed.
"yea I wonder how I'm gonna do that " I laughed.
As I drove home I stopped at the opening of the drive way up to the old mansion. I thought what the hell. I was already scared why not put the icing on the cake. I parked my car and headed in and up to the mansion. It was dark and chilly. My breath was taken away when I reached the top. The most Beautiful landscaping I'de ever seen. I heard a noise and looked up. As I did I caught a glimpse of someone in the window. I freaked out and began walking backwards when I felt my self trip and then I don't remember anything.
