"Amy", the Doctor said, "Wait right here. Rory you too".

"Hey! And where do you think you're off to?", I asked.

"Phloota!", he said and pointed to a small stand across the motor way.

"What is, what ever it is that you just said?", I asked raising an eyebrow.

"Phloota! Only the next best thing to fish fingers and custard, or well I say next-", he said.

"Alright, I get the point. It's good. But what is it?", I asked.

"Well", he dragged out his words as he scratched his cheek, "Let's just say its safe to eat. Think green pudding that tastes like chips!"

"Uh, is that even possible?", Rory asked which earned an exaggerated eye roll from the Doctor.

"Of course it's possible! Nearly anything is possible somewhere in the universe", the Doctor said bouncing with energy, "Now wait right here Ponds. I will be right back!"

The Doctor bounced across the motorway and straight up to the stall.

"How could we ever think about leaving all this behind?", I asked Rory.

"Because we have two lives that compete", he said sighing deeply.

I looked back over to the Doctor, who seemed not to mind the look he received from the owner when he passed his unlimited credit stick to him to pay.

I turned back to Rory.

"Yeah, but what's the point in giving this up if we can be back the moment after we lef-", I was cut off by the sound of tires squealing.

I looked back towards the sound at the exact moment that everything shattered.

I saw a flash of tweed rolling up the front of a large vehicle, smashing the wind shield as it went, before falling off the back and tumbling into a bloody heap.

I was frozen in space as Rory and others ran to the aid.

A large enough crowd had gathered and blocked my view, which sent me spiralling into action.

I ran as fast as I could, my legs wobbly.

No. No, not him. Anyone but him, I thought as I prayed to find any other tweed clad alien on the road.

I managed to squeeze my way to the front of the mob of aliens and humanoids, only to have my worst fears confirmed.

"Doctor!", I screamed as Rory attempted to revive him.

Hello everyone! If you like this let me know and I will continue on it, but it I don't get any responses then it will be a one shot. Thanks to everyone for their continued support and I am sorry I have been neglecting my other stories this week. This past week has been rough: I started a new position at work and also totalled my car for the second time this year. I will try to be a bit more regular again. Thanks for reading and I love you all!
