Her Hero
It was cloudy; a cool breeze blew ruffling her short black hair. She looked out to the blue ocean; she saw a fog creeping up to the rocks below the cliffs. She now could hardly notice the nearly blinding beams from the lighthouse. Her clothes now had little droplets of water from the fog the droplets clung to her hair making it feel as if it had an extra twelve layers to it. Her purple eyes glowed in the fog that was now creeping below her feet; she no longer could see her black shoes. As she looked around she felt as if her backpack was missing along with her legs.
But as she reached down for her backpack the ground below her gave way beneath her and she came tumbling down to crash into the boulders that would kill her instantly, when a figure swooped down, caught her and brought her to the closest piece of solid ground. Raven looked up at him, she was kneeling down, her back was the most scrapped up which caused her to have trouble standing her head felt heavy and she could fear her consciousness slipping away. But before she closed her eyes and drifted away into her deep sleep she managed to see her masked hero.
As she awoke she felt a warm wet liquid dripping down the left side of her face, she touched the stream of blood running down her face. She lent down and grabbed her backpack when she realized she was completely forgetting her rescuer. And as soon as she thought of him she couldn't get it out of her mind, 'Why did he save me?', and that was it there was now one other thing scraping at her thoughts, 'Who is he?', and then realized she would have to find her hero.
She walked through the crowded hallway at the Arklow High, her mind still stuck on her hero, but as she was caught in her deep thinking a door swung open and knocked her down to the floor. "What the hell? Do you look where you're going?" She spat.
"Oh…well…I…um…sorry." The boy said stuttering. He looked at her like he was now frightened by the girl who he'd hit by the door. Then she stood up grabbed her backpack and stormed into the cluster of students filing down the hallway. He took a quick mental note of what she looked like then also filed off to class.

After the role call had been said Raven remembered the boy who swung the door in to her, 'He did look like I'd seen him somewhere in Arklow'. But as she began to deeply think about it the teacher rudely interrupted her thoughts, 'How am I ever going to find him if I keep getting interrupted?'
The next day she only thought about her hero, the boy who saved her from her near death experience. As she looked into the mirror she noticed the gash on her head still was not healed. Her pail skin was still stained by blood. The gem on her forehead matched her eyes perfectly, grabbing her chocked and clipping it around her neck she decided to use something she had forbidden herself form ever using, she would attempt to heal her horrible wound on her head. She lifted her hand on her wound and chanted "Azarath, Metrion, Zinthos." And then the gash disappeared and she was healed. "Wow, I can actually use my powers." Then all the sudden she saw herself in a black leotard and cape floating side by side with her hero.
