Disclaimer: What do you think? I don't own Power Rangers and if I did I would have a heck of a lot more money then I do right now.
Extra Note: This is my first story so please be nice, but also tell me if I'm doing something wrong.
Rose sat in her room that was presently decked out in pink and black. She was attempting to read her book on Physics while listening. Attempting being the key word here. Her eye kept on straying towards her window where a certain red ranger was getting drenched by the downfall.
'I give up,' she exclaimed as she grabbed her jacket and headed out the back door to join her comrade. She didn't enter into the rain at first. She stared at the boy while he got poured on.
"You know you're gonna get sick if you stay out here," Rose commented, finally stepping into the storm.
Mack didn't answer at first. Rose wondered if he had heard her, or if he was simply ignoring her comment.
"Mack?"
The red ranger finally turned around. If it hadn't been for the rain, Rose would have sworn he had been crying.
"Is something wrong?"
"No, nothing's wrong," Mack responded half-heartedly.
"Are you sure?" Rose questioned, not satisfied with the answer from the boy.
"Can I show you something?"
"Umm, sure," she answered.
Mack took her hand as he rushed into the forest. Rose wasn't sure at all where he was taking her, not like she had had time to explore the grounds since she had started living here a week ago.
"Where are you taking me?"
"You'll see very soon."
They soon came upon a clearing; it showed no appearance of the storm presently overhead.
"What is this place?" Rose asked.
"It's my secret hiding place," he responded. "Well, I guess it's no longer secret since I showed it to you. I found it soon after my mom died."
"But why did you bring me here?"
"I dunno," Mack answered. "I guess if you ever needed a place to get out the stress of being a ranger it could be here."
Rose smiled before responding, "Thanks."
They stood a moment in awkward silence before Mack spoke up again, "Well, I guess we better get back."
"Umm, yeah, sure," Rose said.
They soon began their journey back to the mansion. When they had reached the edge of the wood, Mack turned to Rose, cupped her face, and reached in for a kiss. After a moment, they broke the kiss and Rose bit her lower lip.
"I-I shouldn't have done that," Mack stuttered.
Rose smiled, looking up at the taller man, "I'm glad you did though." She reached for his hand as they continued into the mansion.
