His father was on a suicide mission, doomed to die of stubbornness while he waited for someone already lost to them.

Lee knew he wouldn't return without her.

He studied his father's quarters with a sense of dread. The various knickknacks, the vast collection of books, the chair that bore his outline. This space was filled with William Adama's essence and Lee couldn't imagine anyone else taking that place.

A childish, selfish part of him wanted to seal the room and let it become his memorial.

Only the fact his father would've hated that prevented him from seriously considering it.
