Emma dumped her badge and keys down on the side table in the entrance hall. She relaxed her shoulders after a gruelling shift at the police department. Emma looked around the house, wondering where her wife was. She heard faint music coming from the study.
Emma smiled to herself seeing Regina sleeping on the couch. Carefully, Emma pushed back the door and entered the room. "Evening, sweetheart," Emma cooed as she kissed Regina's cheek.
"Hi," she groaned, opening her eyes.
"How's my baby Mama?" Emma said as she crouched down in front of the couch.
"Quite nausea today" Regina replied. Emma frowned as she leaned in close to Regina's stomach.
"Has my little girl been making Mama Regina sick," Emma murmured as she rubbed Regina's belly.
"And how do you know it's a girl?" Regina asked, raising an eyebrow. Emma smiled at Regina as she moved to sit at the other end of the couch. Regina rearranged herself to lie against Emma.
"Oh, just a feeling," she shrugged. "I'm home now. I'll make you feel better," Emma whispered close to Regina's ear as she rubbed her shoulder. Regina moaned as she took Emma's hands in her own and rested them on her pregnant stomach. Moment later Henry appeared at the door, smiling at his mum's sitting on the couch. He walked into the room and knelt down beside the couch.
"Mum was feeling sick so I made dinner," Henry to Emma.
"You're a good boy," she smiled.
"I can't wait to meet you little brother or sister," Henry muttered to Regina's stomach before rising to his feet. "I'll go slowly heat up the soup. Take all the time you need before coming to eat dinner," Henry said as he left the room.
