Sent Angels
Michael wondered why Selene had asked him to draw two medium sized angels. Then he wondered why she'd rather be on her own than go out when he asked. Michael sat in the kitchen in their apartment pouring a red sticky liquid into to mugs then he walked through to their childs room to find Selene working away.
"Selene baby what you doing?" Michael asked as he moved closer to Selenewho was kneeling on the floor with what looked like a photo frame, the two pictures of angels Michael had drawn and a blank page.
"No, don't look yet i'm not done. Nearly finished" Selene told him and he suddenly stopped walking towards her.
Michael placed both mugs on the chest of drawers and waited. "There all done" Selene turned around and smiled at him.
Michael watch Selene closely as she picked up what she was working on. "It's amazing" he muttered. Selene was holding a large photo frame with an angel in the middle of the frame on either side then right in the middle was a written message in Selene's hand writing which Michael read aloud.
"Watching over you.
I
sent these special angels
To keep you safe and sound,
To bless
you and to love you
When I am not around.
I
asked them to look after you,
And not to let you frown.
To
cheer you up when times are rough,
Or whenever you feel down.
I
hope they take good care of you
And bring you lots of
love,
Because I called upon them specially
From Heaven up
above"
Michael smiled and kissed his pregnant mate. "Do you think the baby will like it?" Selene asked hoping the baby would.
"I'm sure he will" Michael smiled then added "Where are you going to put it?"
"On that wall right there" she answered and pointed to the bare wall then continued as Michael hung the photo frame on the wall "..and what do you mean he. What makes you think its a boy?"
"Well nothing really i would like it to be a boy but if it happens to be a girl i will treat her just the same" Michael smiled and hugged his mate.
"I love you" she told him.
