This is just a one-shot drabble to see how FF. net's submitting system works, so sorry for the outcome of the plotless words.
Just to let you guys know, this is slightly shonen-ai, so only read if you don't have a problem with it...and if you do have a problem with it, read some mild shonen-ai anyway, and soon you too shall know thw joys of it! (yeah, I don't think I can handle the hardcore stuff yet...or ever)

A green blur. Wide smiles. Fake laughter fills the air. His own laughter. All the others are truly happpy, while he radiates sadness, despite his efforts to contain it. It's hard to bear the sickly sweet sound of a couple in love when you're so deprived of it.
Though I'll not admit that I need any part of it...
Lee had asked for his blessing in marrying Tenten. He couldn't say...
...NO!
"Of course you have my blessing, Lee. Congratulatons."
Neji found it funny that Lee thought so highly of his opinion. After all, what had he done to deserve such acknowledgement? All he had done was push him away, mock him, glare at him, dismiss his abilities.
It wasn't out of hate
"Get out of my face."
I was scared about the way you could make me drop my guard...my mask...my defences...
"I hate you."
...the way you made me love you
All he could do is give the support he owed, and smile. He would keep smiling for as long as it took, because Lee was getting married, and Neji was his best man.
Neji's pearl kissed eyes stung painfully, and he absently wondered why it was raining indoors...
