It's a Pirate's Life for Me
Why yes dear I've fallen in love,
But sorry, it's not with you.
Sorry to say but there's no time to stay,
And that oh dearie is true.
…
Yeah, this may be callous,
Yeah, this may be rough.
But if you take issue with Jack Sparrow,
All I can say is "tough."
…
I want it all, the sea and the land,
To see all of the world.
I'll do it by sea, I'll do some by land,
In the former, with black flags unfurled.
…
So yes dearie I'm leaving you,
Your Jack is going to explore.
Your tits are large, but the world's are bigger,
Can you blame me for wanting more?
Historian's note:
The following letter was found in recent excavations on Tortuga. By chance or design, it was well preserved. I must comment though, that the transcript does not convey the original text justice-two forms of handwriting were present, as if this "Jack" had to get someone else to help him out with basic poetry.
Also it was quite hard to read. Someone had written DAMN YOU JACK SPARROW! on it.
