Silent Passion
Draco watched silently as a hidden beauty descended the stairs. His eyes glazed over with hidden passion for her but then reverted to the well-practiced hatred that he was to feel towards her. The word mudblood came across his lips like word vomit; he was unable to stop it. She paused, stopped by surprise before a witty comeback flowed flawlessly across her own perfect lips. Draco longed to make those lips his, and lived in agony that he could not. He longed to see the passion flow across her eyes as it did for him. He knew it never would.
