Very sadly I don't own Glee, this was just a random idea I came up with in the bath, so don't ask me why. Im going to try and update this often as school is giving me a lot of stress and headaches and a lot of homework. Which leaves me tired, horrible and not much time. Chapter 1
"Kayla remember its school tomorrow!" Rachel shouted up to her eight year old daughter. Rachel was a mother of one and she was a single parent, living in the likes of New York, the city of fame and wonder, well that's Rachel's way of seeing it. Rachel had completed her dream of being a Broadway star, being in Wicked, West Side Story and having her own show: The Star Child. She would admit that being a single parent and being a Broadway star was rough but she wouldn't give anything up for her daughter or career. She never let having a child get in the way of fulfilling her dreams, she loved Kayla to pieces, even more than Broadway. When Kayla was first born her father Finn had always been there for Rachel and his daughter. But Rachel still wanted to go after her dreams and left Finn back in Ohio and took Kayla with her, since then Finn had never seen her, this really upset him. He had tried to keep contact with her but it was impossible, they had moved a lot of times so he could not get hold of their address. Finn had so many things he wanted to show and tell Kayla, it just killed him that he would probably not see her again, well for a long time at least. This all changed one autumn evening, Kurt, Finn's brother had told Finn were about the two girls were living, considering how Kurt and Rachel both worked on the same Broadway show. The New York breeze became heavy, there was a knock on the door for Rachel, she opened it expecting it to be Kurt, but who stood in front of her became a shock. It was Finn's mother, Carol and she came with some bad news…
