please read and review!
"You killed her! You killed my child!" the woman shrieked. She was held back by a pair of policemen.
"I didn't mean to! I didn't!" the small boy whimpered, cowering in the corner of the alley, "She was screaming! I...I didn't...she wouldn't be quiet...I-I..." he babbled. His eyes were wild and his breathing elevated.
"You killed her!" the woman continued, "Just look at her!" she gestured to the corpse, shaking uncontrollably with sobs.
The boy peeked over his hands at the bloodied girl, her eyes staring at him blankly, mouth agape. He really hadn't meant to kill her. He had just wanted her to stop screaming.
He began to sweat; he couldn't handle the mother's shrieks. His dark side was demanding her life, to stop her awful screams. It hissed angrily as her voice reached a new pitch.
"Stop..." he whispered, "Stop it! Stop! Silence! Be silent!" his voice grew in volume with every word until he was yelling at the top of his lungs.
He opened his palms to her, his eyes flashing angrily, consumed by his dark side. A swarm streaked from his hands, engulfing the people in and around the alley.
The woman's voice reached a feverish note as the creatures ripped at her flesh. And then suddenly...silence.
Young Tyki looked up, his eyes oozing tears. An insane smile played across his lips.
"Silence..." he whispered, giggling, "so wonderful...so sweet." He got up, staggering out of the alley.
He stared up at the moon, slight sanity returning.
"So lonely." He whispered, holding out his hand to a stray teez. It took its place on his finger, "So lonely...so beautiful is this painful silence."
