First Class Ninja
Summary: The idiot really had too much to learn. Naruto was no first class ninja. If we fight again, we will both die. Because Uchiha Sasuke had always known that he would be the one to die.

Uchiha Sasuke looked at the clearing sky. Blue pouring into his line of sight as the lighting clouds began to disperse. It illuminated the cracked earth and wrecked forest. And the blood.
The blood that the earth greedily soaked.
"Sasuke, no…this," a sob echoed though the destruction. "This wasn't supposed to happen."
The Uchiha wanted to laugh. He wanted to laugh until his stomach could take no more, laugh until his lungs were deprived of air, laugh until his head got light and dizzy.
But the gash in his stomach, hole in his lung, and wound on his head kept him from laughing. Instead, a low moan and heave escaped his lips with blood trickling accompanying its departure.
"No, don't move, don't talk, don't try to talk, don't move, no, don't talk," just like a broken record, the same phrases and words gushed out. The sobbing hadn't stopped.
Sasuke stared up and wondered whether it was the sky or something else he saw—that startling blue confused him because there was no longer a contrast of red. His eyes, his body, his chakara was no longer red. And that confused Sasuke.
But beneath all the confusion and hurt and pain, Sasuke still wanted to laugh. He wanted to laugh at the blonde for assuming. Laugh at Uzumaki Naruto for thinking that he could shoulder all the hate and betrayal.
We're both first class ninjas now. We can tell by trading fists.
Sasuke managed a bloody chuckle. The idiot really had too much to learn. Naruto was no first class ninja.
If we fight again, we will both die.

AN: Here's another bordering Narusasu/Sasunaru story! :D Haha, when I read the chapter and about the first class ninjas, I immediately thought that it wasn't possible. I mean, Naruto's the main freaking character. If he dies with Sasuke, what happened to that whole goal of being Hokage? Which was like what, the main focus for the past how many chapters/books?
Either one of them is gonna die or neither will die. I would seriously be pissed off if both of them died. (Though it would be great Narusasu/Sasunaru material~!)
