Prologue.
I never thought much about how I would die, but dying in the place of someone I love, seems like a great way to go.
As I stare my murderer in the eyes, my heart beat stops, and then accelerates until it drowns out everything else. It thuds in my ears and feels like it's racking my brain.
She turns her head to the side as if she is estimating my amount of blood. She lets out a light chuckle. She lifts a video camera and angles it toward me.
'I borrowed this from your house, I hope you don't mind. Good, and lets continue' my eyes widen in shock as she grabs me by the neck and lifts me off the ground. Her hand closes around my neck cutting of my air way. I couldn't help but let out a cry of fear. Her giggle sickens me.
'C'mon baby, we had a good time didn't we? I mean, you're not a virgin anymore, and well, nether am I. So why don't you wanna' spend eternity with me?' her voice still sounded like Angels from above. She caressed my cheek with her free hand. She closed her eyes' and began her slow decent toward my lips. She gentle lowered me down to the ground where she quickly joined me. My lips parted as her's connected to mine. As her cold lips connected to mine, I felt a shock. But not like the shock a felt with Bella. But the kind of shock I use to feel with Alice. I pulled away slowly and took in her face. I started to recognize her features.
Her almost perfect full lip, her wide and edgy eyes her almost perfect teeth.
But instead of her light moss green eyes, I saw blood red eyes. Instead of seeing her lightly tanned skin I see her almost chalky white skin. I recognize this vampire. But it's not the vampire I recognize but the human it's self that it use to be. My eyes widened in shock as I remembered the figure sitting in front of me with a small smile on her lips. Alice, staring at me with the eyes of a monster. Her lips curled back into a snarl and she lunged at me. Her cool lips connected to my neck. And almost instantly, my body began to burn.
