Hold my hand-The Fray
Ash was standing next to Serena, near the tree with the gifts, watching the fireworks and then he looked discreetly at the girl, who was still holding the small box he had given her, and Ash opened a small smile because when she was happy, he was happy and she had given him a great help that afternoon to choose the gift for his pokemons.
As more people began to arrive to see the fireworks, it was hard to see and Ash looked to the side, seeing that Serena was on tiptoe and then, he extended his hand to her, who looked at him curiously:
"Hold my hand, we can go up that hill so we can see better from there."
"All right."
Serena blushed, her heart pounding because Ash was always so attentive and she squeezed the box harder and then, she held his hand, both shivering with the touch, while Pikachu climbed on the boy's shoulder and the rest of the friends and pokemons accompanied them to the hill.
It was empty there and they could see the fireworks clearly, as well as feel a light breeze and Serena closed her eyes for a moment, her fingers closing unconsciously around Ash's, before reopening them, seeing the colors in the sky.
Ash smiled, looking down and seeing that Serena had intertwined her hand with his and despite blushing, was holding his hand firm and he felt his heart warm at her touch.
"Thank you again for the help. Today was an incredible day..." He murmured, looking at his pokemons who was having fun and then at Serena.
Serena felt a great calm there, beside him and with the others and met Ash's gaze and the two exchanged a smile, their faces lit by the colored lights of the fires and she nodded, delighted.
"It was."
